This is the embodiment of the Mother Archetype, she represents the Earth, the four elements and the mediator between the human and animal realm. She has mastered the artistry of progressive communication with all hot and cold blooded creatures of the Earth, Air and Sea. The Empress and her companion bird of paradise communicate in a secret and intimate language known only to them. The Empress is Love, and her flesh glows rose with the eternal bloom. The red liquid symbolizes blood of flesh and the juice of the plant world. This "blood" pours forth from her honored staff of mediation, a physical transmitter between this world and the other unseen realms. The blood flows down her sacred gravid body and into the river at her feet, which blends into the sea.. this unification expresses the dynamics of micro/macrocosm of Divine Alchemy, and our link with the creation of Mother Earth.
